Antiphon
When the Lord saw the sisters of Lazarus weeping at the tomb, he wept in the presence of the Jews, and cried out: Lazarus, come forth; and he came forth, bound hands and feet, who had been four days in the tomb.
John 11: 33, 35, 43, 44, 39
Ps. 129
1. Out of the depth I have cried to thee, O Lord: Lord, hear my voice.
2. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
3. If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it?
4. For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: wherefore thou art feared.
5. Sustain, O Lord, sustain my soul in thy word;
for my soul hath hoped in the Lord, as the watchman counts on daybreak.
6. Let the watchman count on daybreak, and Israel hope in the Lord.
